Candle Holders
These glowing candle holders make a lovely present or decoration.
What you need
Coloured tissue paper
Pencil
Scissors
Glitter glue
Glasses (or empty wide-mouthed jars)
Glue sticks
Tea light candles
Sequins, beads, tinsel
What to do
1. Find a glass. You can ask Mum to buy cheap glasses from the warehouse or save glass jars (just be sure to wash them out carefully). The best glass is one that is quite short and fat and has a wide opening.
2. Choose the tissue paper you are going to use (pale colours are best) and cut it so that it will fit around the glass. Cover the paper lightly with glue stick and stick it against the glass making sure it is covered all the way around. Don't worry if the paper sticks as this will look lovely when the candle is lit.
