Christmas
Origami Snowflakes
These can be used on a tree, taped against a window or even clipped onto a piece of fishing line (with paper clips) and used as a hanging garland.
What you need
Coloured paper (not too thick )
Pencil
Paper cutter and small scissors
Glitter glue
Scotch poster tape
What to do
1. Cut a piece of paper into a square. Fold this square in half, then quarters and then into a triangle.
2. Draw a pattern along both folded edges and then carefully cut out the shape (snowflakes).
3. Unfold, flatten and decorate with glitter glue if you want. Tissue paper or coloured cellophane is lovely for window decorations. Use Scotch Poster tape to attache these to windows or walls.
4. The smaller ones can be used for tree decorations, they just need a little looped gold thread glued or taped to one side. The smaller the square is, the more difficult it will be to fold and cut.
