Clay Decorations
These are made out of air-drying clay, can make excellent gifts, or even name decorations for the table.
What you need
Air-drying clay (DAS, Femo, Eberhard Faber are good brands and available from craft or art shops)
Pastry Board/Rolling pin
Cookie cutters
Poster paint
Glitter
Glue
Felt-tipped pens
Beads and sequins
Ribbon
Toothpick
What to do
1. Put the clay on the pastry board and roll it out (Mums may have to help initially) to about 3mm thick. Smooth the clay down with a little water.
2. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters – stars, gingerbread men, bells, Christmas trees or any others than you have.
