Driftwood mobiles

It's become our favourite pasttime when the weather is iffy at the beach. We collect all sorts of things throughout the summer - driftwood, shells, sand pansies, seed pods, even dried tumbleweed once. We put it on the back porch and let it bleach out a bit more. We then use twine, or fishing line to attach the various items. You will need an electric drill with a steel bit to drill the holes, and the pieces of twine will need to be at different lengths.

No two mobiles are ever the same and we have a lot of fun making them.
