Ribbons and Bows
The Basic Bow
Step 1: Wrap the ribbon around the box loosely to estimate how much ribbon you'll need. Cut the ribbon and then wrap it around the package and pull until it is taut.
Step 2: Form the ends into two equal loops that overlap and you can work with.
Step 3: Cross the right loop over the left.
Step 4: Knot the loops by pushing the right loop behind the left loop then going under and through the hole.
Step 5: Pull the knot tight.
Step 6: Adjust until the loops are equal in size. Notch the ribbon ends.
